Dileepa ignites Sinhala Creativity at SPAACS
"Apata Nopenena Lokaya saha Thavath Valpal”

A workshop titled "Apata Nopenena Lokaya saha Thavath Valpal" - A forgotten method to come up with ideas – was conducted by veteran ad guru Dileepa Abeysekera last Saturday and was attended by members from Grant McCann, Triad, Holmes Pollard, Sarva Integrated and Adwatch.

A well known ad personality renown for his ‘local touch’ in advertising, Dileepa has many awards to his name. Beginning his advertising career at Phoenix O&M, he later moved on to LOWE Lintas and JWT, after which he launched his own advertising agency, Heensare, where he currently functions as CEO.

A creative legend, Dileepa’s workshop focused on finding insights in unusual places. As is obvious by his stellar work, he strongly believes that in insight lays the key to creativity and hence great advertising. His knowledge was shared by an eager audience from many walks of life, and they all undoubtedly walked away with a new perspective on generating ideas through creative insight.
